Have you always wanted to learn calligraphy? Learn the basics from how to draw the correct guidelines, form the stroke sequence and be open to practicing after this workshop; just like taking up a musical instrument! Kathy will instruct the style called Uncial which is round and wide, upright and easy to learn. Students will work with a pencil to start then move on to a calligraphy felt pen. Dip pen and ink will be made available to try. Projects will also be completed in class. Please bring your own unlined paper, 4B pencil, ruler, eraser, and $10 for felt pen, paper samples, and instruction kit. Suitable for all skill levels.
