2022 TD Art Gallery Paint-In.

These scrolls were created for display at my booth at the 2022 TD Art Gallery Paint-In which is held in Victoria BC every July.  The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria who sponsors the event, situated on Moss Street, is free admission that day and the entire Moss Street is closed to street traffic so that locals and art lovers from afar can visit the hundreds of artists booths that line the street from the top at Fort Street to the bottom at Dallas Road across from the ocean. 

I scribed Mary Oliver’s poetry, a renowned American poet, using a Pentel Color Brush pen on translucent vellum which was hung over enlargements of my nature photos.  These large works (26” x 72”) made quite a statement and drew a lot of attention.
